Epic Investment Partners began trading in August 2001 with the launch of The Equity Partnership Investment Company PLC (EPIC) an innovative closed-end investment company, which against a difficult investment market background raised gross fund assets of approximately £70 million. 
 
EPIC invests in quoted equities, specialist funds, private equity, bonds and structured income products. The Group also started with contracts to manage assets for other founder shareholders and by the end of November 2004 had attracted sufficient further funds to move the total funds under management towards £2.2bn.  
  
EPIC Asset Management (EPAM) received their regulatory approval on 12 September 2001 and is providing cash and bond management to a range of institutional investors as well as working with international clients and intermediaries to provide innovative high yield structures using a range of investment grade instruments.
