John Morton

John Morton – started his City career in 1977 when he joined Hill Samuel Investment Management Ltd. In 1982, John was involved in the establishment of Fraser Henderson Ltd, an investment management company established to cater for private clients. John has been responsible for managing institutional funds, global equity unit trust and the launch of a European fund achieving top quartile performance over a five year period. Latterly he established an asset management function with Brachers Solicitors which grew to manage over £50 million before being demerged in May 2000 into the Ashcourt Group. Ashcourt grew funds under management by organic growth and acquisition to over £600 million prior to being acquired by Syndicate.
